This is a Vintage 1978 Discraft Sky Pro North American Flying Disc Championships Disc. It is a 9.5" orange Canadian tournament disc with a black hot stamp of Discraft co-founder Jim Kenner throwing what appears to be an overhand wrist flip. If my memory serves, the Discraft Sky Pro was one of the first non-Wham-O flying discs to threaten Wham-O's superiority in the competitive flying disc world. The design was very clean, and was especially pleasing to freestylers who appreciated the absence of flight lines on top, or raised lettering on the bottom. These discs were not legal for Wham-O sponsored tournaments, as it was not until 1980 that Wham-O opened their tournaments to other manufacturers. This particular disc is very slightly used, though not thrown. It shows some minor storage wear on top, along with delay marks and some benign nipple wellishing on the underside. Overall, this disc is in very good condition, and it's a great collectable. Look for my other offering of this disc in blue. Thanks for looking!
